Trade and Home Shows offer by far the best ROI. Print advertising is a gamble, at best for us.
Home shows seem to work pretty well. I like internet advertising because you more control over how much money you spend. I've tried the monthly mailers with some seccess, but it can be very expensive.
I usually take a day a month to do some "cold calling" or just a simple drive around town to look for new construction going on, take the name and # off the sign out front and just call and introduce yourself. I try not to keep them on the phone for more than 5 -7 minutes unless they are asking all the questions. Works for me!
