Re: New Here? Introduce yourself HERE...

AW

When I first started out I advertised in a monthly mailer with a little success. The ROI wasn't there though. I've also tried yellow pages, also not much luck in there. Home Shows seem to work for me. You sometimes don't reap the benfits for awhile though. I had a lady sign with me 6 months after she saw me at  home show. I don't know what services you are offering in your other biz, but I would use those contacts to start with. Offer them discounts on your new product line. Networking doesn't cost anything but your time - which we all have little of. I go after the builder and homeowner market but they have to be approched differently. If you haven't done your closets yet, you should. It's good to get a few done before you build for you customers.

Good luck, SWClosetman

Re: New Here? Introduce yourself HERE...

Thanks SW.  I actually am planning on doing our master closet.  Then the other closets.  I do have someone with experience working with me but as you know most customers want to see your work.

My company offers shower enclosures, mirror and ventilated shelving.  After turning down many customers when asked if I did custom closets I knew it was time to start.

Re: New Here? Introduce yourself HERE...

hello all!

I own and operate a small closet co. here in the SW (Abuquerque). Soon to be offering a quick turnaround on designs/drawings to smaller shops around the country that cannot do them for themselves.
