Project: This walk-in Master closet is designed for a client in Lincolnwood, IL. The room is brightly lit with two adjacent windows and has a second egress out into the hallway, as well as an entrance from the bedroom. The client’s husband has a separate closet in the Master bedroom so this closet was designed specifically for her.

Notes: The goal of the closet was to create a custom dressing room for the client. This included creating an area for the client’s clothing and shoes, as well as a built-in vanity area. The floor-based cabinetry creates a finished look for the room. The panels are bisque melamine and the drawer fronts are Portabella glazed thermo foil. Custom details include crown moulding, built-in window seats, a pullout mirror, a jewelry drawer and dovetail drawer boxes. The overall effect is light and feminine, reflecting the client’s taste.

The most outstanding characteristic of the project is the beauty of the Portabella glazed drawers. The drawers elevate the look closest to the custom-built cabinetry, in line with the current trends in the kitchen and bath industry.
