Project: Master closet, newly created during the bathroom renovation, and crafted out of mocha melamine, featuring a granite-topped double center island with bench.

Notes: A bathroom renovation provided an abundance of space to create both finished and unfinished storage spaces. We were engaged during construction and were able to consult on the finished sizes of the space, outlet and door locations, eliminating awkward obstacles in the closet. The customers wanted an abundance of drawers but had no real hanging requirements. They were, however, interested in looking very finished and high-end, and that was left completely up to me to recommend. With differing heights and depths, crown and base moulding, backing, shoe cubbies and fences, seeded glass doors, island with granite top and bench, and a rich dark, mocha melamine finish, we were able to meet both their storage and aesthetic requirements in roughly a 16-foot by 14-foot space, while leaving ample unfinished space beyond the finished walls for storage of holiday decorations, off-season clothes, etc.
